My expectations

I am very excited about going to India. I still have to gather information about it by reading my professor's 3 books requirements. I love this previous moment of a trip where you keep dreaming about your following days, where nostalgic anxiety catches you. Moments where all you can think is about your discoveries that will soon happen.
I can't wait to feel the 100 degrees , just like a hot yoga, a natural one. A yoga of more than 100 different languages and numerous religious beliefs. I can't wait to learn about their cuisine . I have heard that India is a chaotic democratic place. Its downsides are not too clear to me but even though I am not interested in the negatives aspects, I will definitely face it and write about it. I know that:
  • Its traffic is insane
  • Its water is not safe or clean
  • Its fruits are not safe neither- unless you peel yourself
  • It is not safe wearing tight cloths or expos to much skin

Truly, I am awaiting to see and ride the elephants. Maybe the little kids walking bare foot going to school will be happier or more satisfied than American spoiled kids. Also I want to witness the crazy bull festival and various others where there is loud drums (similar to Brazilian samba music) shaking your soul. I am anxious to see dancers wearing colorful outfits flipping around with such energy that makes one wonder wheather you can blame on the curry's sauce . I am also hoping to sneak out some day to go check the clubs and pubs. Of course we have to see all aspects or their culture. The rich and the poor, the clean and the dirty, the sane and the insane. Am I insane? nottttttttt, I am just a curious tourist who needs to see it all in order to criticize it fairly.

I have to say how lucky I feel because I can visit and learn about such an amazing and exquisite culture. I am grateful to all of those that are supporting me in this adventure: my boss, my friend Lindsey, my Professors and James... Love you all immensely.

8 days to go...

More to come laterrrrr...
